Use DMM as a torrent indexer

DMM answers as a Torznab indexer, so Prowlarr, Sonarr and Radarr can search its torrent library like any other tracker.

A sponsor feature

The torrent indexer answers Prowlarr, Sonarr and Radarr as a Torznab indexer backed by DMM's own library, so your *arr stack can search it like any other tracker and hand the magnets to your debrid account. The whole setup is written out below; the one thing it needs that this browser does not have yet is a DMM API key, which comes with a sponsorship.

Sponsor this project's development

Get your key by connecting your GitHub account there, then paste it in Settings to link this browser. Already sponsoring on another machine? It is the same key on this one, so there is nothing to pay twice.

1. Paste this into Prowlarr / Sonarr / Radarr

Prowlarr: Settings → Indexers → + → Torznab (the generic one). Sonarr and Radarr take the same three values under Settings → Indexers → + → Torznab if you would rather skip Prowlarr.

URL
https://debridmediamanager.com/api/torznab

API Path
/api

API Key
your DMM API key from gatekeeper
paste it in Settings to show it here
The same 64-character DMM API key works for the Usenet indexer too. This browser remembers it once linked, and the copy button above hands over the whole key without putting it on screen.

2. What you can search for

t=search
Free-text search
q= anything. With no query at all it answers with what was scraped most recently.
t=tvsearch
TV by series id
imdbid= or tvdbid=, with season= and ep=. Sonarr sends this.
t=movie
Movies by IMDb id
imdbid=, with or without the tt prefix. Radarr sends this.

A title nobody has looked up yet is scraped while your search waits, so an empty first answer is worth repeating once before blaming the indexer.

3. Which cache, and whether to filter

Nothing here comes off a swarm, so seeders is repurposed: a release your debrid account can grab instantly comes back as 100 seeders, and everything else as 1. Prowlarr, Sonarr and Radarr rank on that number, so the plain URL already puts what you can actually grab at the top. Most people need nothing below this line.

If you want more than ranking, the URL takes two optional parts, in this order:

/api/torznab[/service][/cached]
/service — whose cache sets that seeder count
(nothing)
Real-Debrid or AllDebrid
the default — either one counts
/rd
Real-Debrid
/ad
AllDebrid
/tb
TorBox
needs your key linked
/pm
Premiumize
needs your key linked
/oc
Offcloud
needs your key linked
/cached — drop the rest instead of just ranking it lower

Without it the feed carries everything and the seeder count does the sorting. With it, anything that cache does not already hold is left out of the feed entirely — use it when you would rather import nothing than wait on a download.

Put together
/api/torznab
Everything DMM has, cached releases ranked first
/api/torznab/cached
Only what Real-Debrid or AllDebrid already holds
/api/torznab/rd
Everything, with only Real-Debrid deciding the ranking
/api/torznab/rd/cached
Only what Real-Debrid already holds
/api/torznab/ad/cached
Only what AllDebrid already holds
/api/torznab/tb/cached
Only what TorBox already holds
/api/torznab/pm/cached
Only what Premiumize already holds
/api/torznab/oc/cached
Only what Offcloud already holds

Remember an *arr appends /api itself, so what you paste into the URL field is the line above and nothing more.

Real-Debrid and AllDebrid are answered from DMM's own library, so those work the moment you paste the URL. TorBox, Premiumize and Offcloud have to be asked directly, so each needs a key of yours — linked below rather than put in this URL, which ends up in config files, forum posts and server logs. Those three answer a few hundred releases per search and remember what they learn, so a title with thousands fills in over the first few searches. Debrid-Link is not offered: its API cannot be asked whether it holds something without adding it, which would spend your quota on every search.
Link a provider key

Only the three that have to be asked. Each key is checked against that provider before it is stored, so a typo is refused here rather than turning into an empty feed a week from now.

TorBox/api/torznab/tb/cached
torbox.app → Settings → API key
Premiumize/api/torznab/pm/cached
premiumize.me → My Account → API key
Offcloud/api/torznab/oc/cached
offcloud.com → Account → API key

Linking a key is a sponsor feature.

4. Categories it advertises

2000Movies2030Movies / SD2040Movies / HD2045Movies / UHD5000TV5030TV / SD5040TV / HD5045TV / UHD

Map the parent categories rather than only the subcategories: a release whose name never states a resolution is labelled 2000 or 5000 and nothing else, so a HD-only mapping hides it.

5. Limits, per key

20 searches
per minute, per key
No grab limit
grabs never come back to DMM

Counted against your DMM API key, not your IP, so several *arr instances behind one key share the budget. Cap Prowlarr's RSS sync interval rather than letting a full library search run unthrottled.

6. Where the grabs go

Every result is a magnet link, so point your *arr at any download client that adds magnets to your debrid account. DMM is not in that path at all — it hands over the infohash and your own account does the rest.

Results come from DMM's own torrent library. If you want your *arr to only ever grab things that download instantly, use the /cached variant above.
